1. A rare species of vampire found in Parisian sewers and catacombs. It was first discovered in 1835 by Ignazio Giacomo Rossi. Though diminutive in size, adults are capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite. They are a very aggressive and have been known to stand their ground and even approach the intruder. The diet consists mainly of rodents and frogs, but is otherwise highly varied and, uniquely, has even been reported to include carrion.
